1
1st Day: Arrival in Cusco – Free day in the City of the Puma

After your arrival in Cusco, we pick you up and take you to your hotel.

You have a day for your own to do everything you want or can. We offer different activities, which you can hire then for an extra cost.

Accommodation: One night in Cusco.

2nd Day: Huacarpay Lagoon – Ollantaytambo – Aguas Calientes

First, we pick you up from your hotel very early in the morning. Then, we drive around 45 minutes towards Huacarpay lagoon. We head to the beautiful wetland for bird watching:

Later, we drive to Urubamba to eat lunch. After lunch, we drive to the ancient Inca town of Ollantaytambo. Here, you can appreciate the magnificence of the Inca engineering. Also, you can wander through the beautiful winding streets and walk up the mysterious terraces.

Finally, we head to Aguas Calientes town, where we will spend the night before visiting the impressive and enigmatic Inca construction of Machu Picchu.

3rd Day: Aguas Calientes – Mandor Waterfall

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, we walk for about 4-5 hours towards Mandor waterfall, where we will observe typical birds of this area like:

Later, we will have lunch in a restaurant in Mandor. Then, we continue observing birds like:

  • Slate throated Whitestart

After enjoying this exciting activity, we walk back to Aguas Calientes.

4th Day: Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu citadel - Cusco

First, we have breakfast in the hotel, then we take the bus for 25 minutes to the enigmatic Machu Picchu. Before visiting Machu Picchu citadel, we walk to Inti Punku or the sun gate, where we will observe typical birds of this mysterious land like:

Later, we return to Machu Picchu citadel to enjoy this magnificent Inca construction. You will visit the most important areas of the ancient citadel like agricultural terraces, stone quarry, Inca Pachacutec house, sacred temples among others. After spending enough time in Machu Picchu, we go back to Aguas Calientes to have lunch and get ready to take your train back to Ollantaytambo and then the bus to Cusco.

5th Day: Cusco – Lima

Breakfast at your hotel, then you will have a spare time in Cusco according to your flight to Lima.

Meals: Box breakfast and Box lunch.

Duration: From 06.30 to 16.00 hours.
